Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide when creating an account, listing a project, contacting a developer, or messaging other users. This includes your name, email, phone number, company, and any details you include in your messages.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to operate Markondo — matching brokers to deals, routing inquiries, and providing customer support. We may send transactional emails (account notifications, inquiry replies) and, if you've consented, marketing emails (new deals, market insights).
3. Sharing
When you send an inquiry about a project or deal, your name, email, and message are shared with the developer or publisher. We do not sell your information to third parties.
4. Calendar connections and call booking
Brokers can connect a Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook calendar so that buyers can book calls with them from their Markondo profile. Connecting is optional and is done by the broker from their dashboard.
What we access. When a broker connects a calendar, Markondo accesses only:
- the email address of the connected calendar account, to show which calendar is connected;
- the times the broker's primary calendar is busy, so that only free times are offered to buyers. We read busy and free times only, not the titles, descriptions, locations or attendees of the broker's other events;
- the events Markondo creates for calls booked through Markondo, which we create, check for changes (for example if the broker moves or deletes the event) and delete when a booking is cancelled.
What we store. We store the connection's access credentials, encrypted, and the details of calls booked through Markondo: the buyer's name, email, optional phone number and message, the booked time, and the identifier of the calendar event. Busy and free times are not stored; they are held in memory for at most one minute.
How we use it. Calendar data is used only to show available times, to create, update and cancel booked calls, and to send the related confirmation and cancellation emails. We do not sell calendar data, use it for advertising, or use it to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models. Our staff do not read calendar data except where the broker asks us to for support, where it is needed for security, or where the law requires it.
Booking a call. When a buyer books a call, the buyer's name, email, optional phone number and message are shared with the broker, and an event with the buyer invited is added to the broker's calendar. Google or Microsoft then send the buyer a calendar invitation.
Disconnecting. A broker can disconnect their calendar at any time from their dashboard. Disconnecting deletes the stored credentials immediately and, for Google, revokes Markondo's access. Access can also be removed from the Google Account permissions page or the Microsoft account "Apps and services" page.
Markondo's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. Data retention
We keep your account data as long as your account is active. Inquiries and messages are retained for record-keeping. Calendar credentials are deleted as soon as a calendar is disconnected; records of booked calls are kept for record-keeping.
6. Your rights
You can request deletion of your account at any time. EU users: you have rights under GDPR to access, correct, and erase your data.
